Careers
Your work, in flight.
Autonomy for systems that fly, in the air and in orbit, where conditions are hardest. The problems aren't solved yet, the work is hands-on, and what you build flies.
01 — How we work
Make it happen.
Four habits we hire for, and hold each other to.
- 01
Make it first.
We welcome bold ideas and keep improving, so we stay at the front of the field.
- 02
Make it yours.
We take the initiative and own the result, at every level.
- 03
Make it possible.
We reason from first principles to work out how a thing gets done, rather than why it can't.
- 04
Make it impactful.
We hold to our goals, and to the difference they make.
02 — The work
Design it. Build it. Fly it.
Whole vehicles, end to end. You'll see your work from the first sketch to the field.

03 — Open roles
Where you come in.
Autonomy Machine Learning Engineer
Turn machine-learning prototypes into flight software. You'll build the inference pipelines and autonomy code that run on board our vehicles, in C/C++ and Python, where compute, power and bandwidth are all scarce.
What you'll do
- Translate ML prototypes into production code for spacecraft and vehicle autonomy.
- Build ML inference pipelines and integrate telemetry and sensor data.
- Debug across every layer of the system, from model to hardware.
- Deploy and support software in resource-constrained environments.
What you'll bring
- A bachelor's in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, aerospace, or a related field.
- 2+ years of software development, with strong C/C++ and Python.
- Hands-on machine learning: preprocessing, training, validation and metrics.
- Solid data structures, algorithms, architecture and testing; Linux and Git.
Nice to have
Embedded or aerospace systems; TCP/UDP, CAN and SPI; cFS or F′; anomaly detection and classification; PyTorch, TensorFlow or ONNX.
Vehicles Robotics Engineer
Design, build, test and fly whole autonomous vehicles, across mechanical, electrical and software. If your junk drawer looks like spare parts for your next invention, this is for you.
What you'll do
- Design, build, test, operate and maintain components, assemblies and complete vehicles.
- Solve problems across disciplines with the rest of the engineering team.
- Source parts and work directly with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Lead flight tests and demonstrations, sometimes on the road.
What you'll bring
- A bachelor's-level grounding in engineering or physics.
- 4+ years on electromechanical, full-vehicle systems, and design for manufacturing.
- CAD for prototypes and production; hands-on electronics (sensors, PCBs, harnesses).
- Embedded programming in C, C++ or Python, and more than one project at a time.
Nice to have
Soft goods (films and fabrics); UAV development, flight software and controls; a clear view of what AI tools can and can't do.
